I’m a teacher. A creative engineer. A musician. A writer. Lover of beauty. An artist. I can’t help not being these things. I have a passion for intentional and authentic living with the end in mind. That is, I believe in “living like you were dying” as the song goes.
Since a little girl, I’ve always had mortality in the back of my mind. It used to frighten me (as it does most people) but even before my journey with cancer, I started growing towards acceptance, peace, and the sacredness of death. Then recently I learned there’s an ancient philosophy called Memento Mori. It felt so good to have a name for it… and that I wasn’t as freakish as I thought I might be!
Surviving breast cancer, coming to a certain age, and having grandchildren to live on after me gives me the motivation to teach the wisdom I’ve grown into and help other people be more intentional at living so their death is as good a one as it can be. Written essays and podcast episodes will be under this umbrella, but the subject matter won’t be all morbid.
This is where we’ll give some information about the Podcast.
Every (day) at (time).
We’ll talk about all the topics you cover, info about special guests on the show, and any other information that is relevant. Then we’ll link them directly to a place that has your podcast episodes with the button below. We’ll have some cool awards below the button.
Keep checking back! I’m working on having an online store where you can purchase inspirational items, my books, and other creative outlet pieces. I appreciate your interest and look forward to getting this going!
